X3 Albion Prelude Plugin Manager
Clean Install. Ensure you have a clean install of X3 Albion Prelude. A clean install is one that: Is updated to the latest version. Has never had any mod/script installed to it or any mod tool associated with it. Mar 25, 2017 - As you are completely new to modding X3, I would recommend using the Plugin Manager. For all your modding goodness, go to the Egosoft. REM global path to your X3 Albion Prelude install. REM ENSURE its the latest patch (3,) REM do not use ' in the path, do not have space between the = sign ('X3APPATH = D:/X3AP' will NOT work).
